Golf at Lely Resort
There are three golf courses at Lely Resort, one private, The Classics, and two public courses, The Flamingo and The Mustang. To belong to the Classics Club you don't have to live in the The Classics subdivision. The membership is acquired by paying the initiation fee and the annual dues. There are a total of 54 holes that present a challenge for every skill level, wide fairways, manicured greens and sparkling lakes, making Lely golf courses a true SW Florida golf experience at its best.
• The Classics golf course at Lely Resort is designed by Gary Player and has 18 holes. The perfect blend of lush tropical landscape, tree-lined fairways and perfect greens create a unique experience while playing this course. • The Mustang golf course is designed by Lee Trevino and is a beautiful 18 hole golf course that creates a perfect harmony between the 7,200 yards of pristine golf course and the 12 lakes that accompany the ample fairways. While forgiving in nature and allowing enough room and opportunities for recovery after an unlucky shot, The Mustang golf course at Lely has generous, ample landing on fairways and fair access to the greens. • The Flamingo Island golf course at Lely Resort is an 18 hole designed by one of the most famous golf course architects, Robert Trent Jones, Sr. Golf players on The Flamingo golf course will be impressed with the architectural design of the greens, fairways and may miss the target once or twice in the strategically placed water hazards.
