Barefoot Beach Subdivisions

The Beach Gardens

Located on the beachside in Barefoot Beach community, the Beach Gardens addopt a different concept from any other subdivision: single family home clusters arranged in a semicircle, facing the beach. There is a pool, spa and a path to the beach in the middle of each of the 11 clusters and each home gets a fantastic view of the Gulf of Mexico. Obviously, the best view is reserved for the homes at each end of the horseshoe. Real Estate in Beach Gardens sells between $2 million and $10 million and there are no vacant lots on the market. Southport on the Bay

One of the two single family communities with boating in Barefoot Beach, Southport on the Bay is larger than Bayfront Gardens and offers direct boat access to the Gulf of Mexico. Gated community comprised of over 100 luxury homes, Southport on the Bay is located just across from the beachfront properties of Beach Gardens, with views of the Hickory Bay and wetlands. There is a private marina on location for the home owners without waterfront. What's really nice about this community is that it has an intimate and quiet feel, it is gated, offers both boating and deeded access to the beach and has many different styles of homes, Medditeranean, Florida and traditional. Bayfront Gardens

Just S of Southport on the Bay, there is a smaller boating community, named Bayfront Gardens. This very exclusive gated community is composed of only 20 home sites, all of them on the water with direct Gulf access, all of them on the left side of Bayfront Dr, the only road in the community. The other side of the road is owned and populated by a beautiful natural preserve and mangroves, habitat for numerous bird species and exotic wildlife. Homes in Bayfront Gardens are very generous in size, ranging from 4000 square feet to well over 6000 square feet, and are priced accordingly, between $1.5 million and $3.5 million. The Cottages

The Cottages at Barefoot Beach are unique in design and ownership. The 15 detached buildings are 3 stories high, most of them have their own private elevator, range in size from 2500 to 4000 square feet and sell between $2.5 to $3.5 million. Built between 1990 and 2002, many of them have been rejuvenated by updates. Due to their unique single family bulding design but condo ownership, immediate proximity to The Barefoot Beach Club, tennis courts and absolutely breathtaking views of direct Gulf front, you are lucky if you can choose between two properties for sale in The Cottages, as they rarely become available. Villas at Barefoot Beach

Located right at the entrance in Barefoot Beach on the Gulf side, The Villas at Barefoot Beach community is the first residential subdivision, built on a 7.5 acre slice of Gulf front. There are 13 buildings, summing a total of 50 attached villas. All the units come with an attached garage and differ in size, ranging from 2000 to 4000 square feet. Out of the 13 buildings of Villas at Barefoot Beach, only 3 offer direct Gulf views, which explains the difference in sales prices, from the $600's to over $2 million.
